What do you get when you bring together six working-class men from very diverse backgrounds with their only commonality being a passion for soccer?  If Universal Studios were to answer this  question, they would simply say, “The Class of ’92.”

“The Class of ’92” is an inspiring documentary about the men who made up what could arguably be seen as one of the greatest soccer teams in the world- Manchester United.

In “The Class of ’92,” David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Paul Scholes reunite to tell the story of the team, as well as share their own personal memories.  A more in-depth look at team provides access to new insights about each individual player during this special period in British soccer.

“My time with these players at Manchester United were the most special in my career,” said David Beckham.  “We came from different backgrounds, grew up like a family playing together through the ranks, all wanting to be successful.  In the end, what we achieved was beyond our wildest dreams.  I loved making this film and reuniting back with the lads an talking openly about our time together.”

Coinciding with the 2014 FIFA World Cup, “The Class of ’92” will debut in select theaters nationwide and be available on DVD exclusively at Walmart and on Digital HD at online retailers everywhere on July 8, 2014 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
