Steel-Panther-All-You-Can-Eat-cover[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Los Angeles sex-driven band Steel Panther is coming to turn you on again with the full- length album All You Can Eat. Anyone that is craving the sounds of 80’s hair metal will be pleased on April 1st. Luckily; you don’t have to wait for the release date to hear the entirety of All You Can Eat. Steel Panther took advantage of modern technology by launching Steel Panther TV where you can stream the album in its entirety along with music videos and links to pre-order the CD.

I gripe to cast a damper on this review by throwing out there that Steel Panther sells sex. Queen, Motley Crue, and even Twisted Sister are groups that produce music to more extensive boundaries. Steel Panthers entire discography is stocked with one primary concept. Sex. From the lyrics to their stage performance all you experience is comedy and a profound amount of lustful energy. I’m not trying to say this band doesn’t work hard, but as far as the style, music, and the path this band has gone down just seems to ooze fun.

The filthiness of All You Can Eat starts off with “Pussywhipped” which is dedicated to all the men out there that let the woman wear the pants in the relationship. Next, comes the party anthem “Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World” which starts off with the band roaring, “HAVE SEX!” This track will have you banging your head and craving a beer just desiring to let loose.

As the next tracks come on, traditional Steel Panther style comes through with the grotesque lyrics of “Gloryhole”, “Bukkake Tears” and “Gangbang At The Old Folks Home”. I think the track titles speak for themselves. Also, apparently with the track “BVS” the group speaks of riding the world of an apparent affliction that is Big Vagina Syndrome. This is not a joke, people.

Don’t let this bands vulgarity turn you off. Steel panther works to bring back the styling’s of glam-rock that has died since the 80’s, and each member exudes that persona perfect. And the bands effort to bring back this genre has not gone unnoticed. Steel Panther has played with bands ranging from Slipknot to Def Leppard and were just introduced as the hosts of the 2014 Revolver Golden God awards.

As a female, it is tough to swallow the sexual dripping lyrics especially since most are quite derogative towards woman. Still, this band is all about fun. And even though the album can get quite X-rated all I want to do is dance around my bedroom with a hairbrush and sing along.

Steel Panther is currently underway with the “All You Can Eat” tour and you can catch a glimpse of the shocking stage performance up until June 1st. Big things are happening for the group, and I have a feeling that glam rock will never die as long as Steel Panther is around.
